TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKINGS AT Mill Farm Holiday Cottages FIley YO14 0HH Season 2022/2023

Please read the following and if you do not understand please email or telephone for clarification.

1.The availability calendars is as up to date as possible however as cottages are advertised on several different websites please telephone to check for availability. We do not guarantee dates are available until you have spoken to us.

2.All bookings must be followed up by a deposit on same day of 25%, via bank transfer, of total the cost of the holiday or if the booking is within 6 weeks of the arrival date then payment in full is required.

Final payments are required 6 weeks before the arrival date. All bookings will be confirmed by email once the deposit/full payment has been received. If no deposit is received within 5 days of booking, we will cancel the booking. A bond may be asked for at booking which will be refunded less any damages caused by your group after departure.

4.No pets / animals are allowed.

5.No booking is binding until confirmed by email or in writing by the Owners after receipt of the deposit or full payment.

6.We reserve the right to refuse a booking.

7.We will endeavour to ensure the accommodation is available, but if it becomes unavailable for any reason our liability will be limited to a maximum of a full refund of any monies paid by you. If we have to vacate you from the property during your stay we will refund a proportion of your payment pro rata.

We will not be responsible for finding or the cost of alternative accommodation if we must cancel your booking. We will not be liable to refund you for any costs you may have paid to any third party in connection with your holiday (including, without limitation, fees for travel, entertainment, activities, or insurance).

Your Booking is made as a consumer for the purpose of a holiday, and you acknowledge that we will not be liable for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you.

 If due to you having to leave because of covid 19 no refund will be given if you leave during your stay, unless it is because of a government lock down relating to covid19. In which case the refund will be pro rata.

8.If you have to cancel a booking please email or telephone immediately, so that we can make every effort to re-let the property. Cancellation will then be confirmed by us by email or in writing. If re-let for the same amount you booked at, you will receive a refund less the deposit paid and any advertising costs/fees incurred. If we are unable to re-let ,you will be held liable for the full amount of the booking if the cancellation is within six weeks of arrival or if less than 6 weeks any amount paid to us. If we re let at an amount less than at your full rental cost we will refund any amount paid by you less any costs incurred and less the difference in cost between the relet and your rental rate.

You are strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance.

9.The accommodation is available from 4.00 p.m. on the day of arrival, please do not arrive earlier, your keys will not be available for collection until this time. The accommodation must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

10. ACCOMMODATION MUST BE LEFT IN A CLEAN AND TIDY CONDITION.

Any additional cleaning required will be charged for (@ £20 per hour) and deducted from any deposit paid or an invoice will be raised to the hirer of the property who agrees to pay this within 14 days.

You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage that you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. This is self-catering property and is priced accordingly therefore the accommodation must be left clean and tidy .We reserve the right to enter the property in case of emergency maintenance or repair.

11.No responsibility will be accepted for any damage or loss to vehicles or property whilst on the site or in the accommodation. All items and property should be used only as it is intended for.

12.Noise should be kept to a minimum especially at night and after 10.30 please be as quiet as possible to avoid annoying your neighbours.

13.In no circumstances may a cottage be occupied by more than the maximum number of people stated at time of booking. The total number of people staying, and their names and home addresses must be given at the time booking. Only the adults and children named at booking can stay at the property. Any change before or during the let from the people named at booking and on the booking form must be notified to the owners before their arrival and must not exceed the maximum stated for the property, additional charged may be made for extra people staying. The Owners reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate the booking if these conditions are not met. The accommodation is let for holiday purposes only.

14.Care should be taken with motor vehicles on the drive and should not exceed 5 mph either in the drive or on the slip road.

15.All properties are non smoking.

16.Children must always be supervised.

17.The free Wi-Fi is subject to availability and should not be relied upon ....no responsibility will be accepted in the case of it not being available for any reason and it should not be relied upon for any purpose.

18.Any descriptions or image shown are to give a general view of the properties and furniture etc etc may vary slightly due to updating etc.

 

19.Bed linen is provided. Towels are not provided.

BOOKINGS MADE THROUGH THIRD PARTY SITES ETC

If a booking contract is given through a third-party letting agency, any conditions mentioned above will be in addition to the contract given by a third party and will override any third party contracts at the option of the owners of the property owner.
