The Cottages
Filey is the ideal holiday destination if you want to experience both the Yorkshire Coast & North Yorkshire Moors.
Mill Farm Holiday Cottages provide lovely Self Catering Cottages and are both within walking distance of Filey town and the beach yet surrounded on three sides by open fields.
The Holiday Cottages are a development of just two cottages with glorious distant sea views over the fields and Filey Town. Both have outside barbeque and eating areas together with parking. They are furnished to a high standard and can accommodate parties of all sizes, with a 2 bedroomed and a 3 bedroomed cottage available, parties of 4 & 6 guests respectively can comfortably be accommodated.
Flamborough View Cottage is best for families with children as one room is small and is more suited to children.
In an ideal location, the cottages can easily be accessed through the farm's positioning adjacent to one of the main routes into the coastal town, whilst being bordered on 3 sides by green fields and various wildlife; providing both easy access yet stunning views and the countryside feeling.
Offering all the modern day requirements, your stay in Filey will feel home from home; as both cottages offer large flat screen TV's, Dishwashers, Full Size Fridge Freezers and WiFi.
It is just a short walk of about 15 mins down to the beach or into Filey Town centre where there is a large Tesco store (for Filey) and plenty of places to eat including Italian & Traditional English fare.
The surrounding fields have cows or sheep in summer and in the winter the occasional deer is seen looking for a meal. Other wildlife includes owls, kestrels, foxes, newts, weasels, pheasants and a host of other birds.
We are an ideal base whether you are looking for a week by the sea or want to venture further afield. The Yorkshire Moors & Dalby forest is a mecca for mountain bikers and walkers whilst Filey's 5 miles of golden sands are ideal for buckets and spades.

Filey View Cottage
Filey Holiday Cottage provides lovely accommodation and stands next to Flamborough Cottage and has upper floor views out over the fields towards Filey and the sea.
There is a little patio area out to the front of the cottage,accessed from a door off the lounge area which has an outside table for 'al fresco' dining
There is plenty of parking for up to two cars per cottage and parking is next to the cottage so no long distances to walk to the cottage.
Filey Cottage is a 2 bedroomed cottage and is able to sleep 4 people easily.There a double bedroom and one twin.
The double room is large and has a king size bed and the twin room has two single beds here is a house bathroom with a bath and shower over.
The ground floor is open plan with a lounge together with kitchen and dining area.
There is an entrance vestibule with a boot area .
The lounge has a large flat screen TV , WiFi ( not to be relied upon as it does occasionally go down ), two double sofas, and glass doors out to a seating area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer and dishwasher, NO washing machine but there is a launderette in Filey.
The cottage has full central heating which is available 24 hours a day.
Flamborough View Cottage
Flamborough Holiday Cottage stands adjoining Filey Cottage and has magnificent views out over the fields towards Flamborough Head.
Before heading off to Filey Bay's glorious beach on a morning why not sit out on the private patio, accessed from the French doors of the lounge area, and watch the sunrise in the morning over the white cliffs and sea Or on an evening enjoy an outside barbeque.
There is plenty of parking for up to two cars per cottage and parking is next to the cottage so no long distances to walk to the cottage.
Flamborough Cottage is a 3 bedroomed cottage and is able to sleep 6 people. There are 2 twin bedrooms ( 1 is small and best suited to children) and 1 double bedroom.
The double room has an en-suite shower room and there is a house bathroom with a bath and shower for the other room.
The ground floor is open plan with a large lounge together with a kitchen and dining area, NO washing machine but there is a launderette in Filey.
There is an entrance vestibule with a boot area and a cloakroom with a toilet and sink.
The lounge has a large flat-screen TV, three double sofas, and patio doors out to a private seating area.
The cottage has full central heating and WiFi, ( not to be relied upon as it does occasionally go down )
